PRINCESS ALEXANDRA HOSPITAL

Our specially trained Cancer Hair Care Hair Loss Advisors will be delighted to meet and support you with hair loss and hair care concerns. Here at the Princess Alexandra Hospital we welcome you to a room within the hospital chemo department. You can book a one to one appointment, bring a guest if you like or drop in. If you are making a special journey to see an advisor may we recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment.  Drop by for a cuppa and see how we can help you.

Location: Princess Alexandra Hospital

Williams Day Unit. Room 8 (opposite chemo room reception desk). Princess Alexandra Hospital, Hamstel Road, Harlow, Essex, CM20 1QX

When: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month

Time: 12.30 to 4.30pm (last drop in 4pm)

If you wish to book on the day of clinic or need to cancel please call the *service mobile 07379 377993. *Please note the service mobile is only responded to on the day of clinic.

You are most welcome to drop by for a chat about hair loss but we do recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Additional information:

Parking: May we kindly suggest that you allow adequate time to park as the hospital car parks to get very busy. 

Wheelchairs users and supporting your needs:

Our service can be accessed by wheelchair users. If we can help you with any support that may make your visit more comfortable please let us know.

About Cancer Hair Care services:

Cancer Hair Care is a registered charity that specialises in offering people guidance and support services before, during and after hair loss and hair thinning due to cancer treatments.  The charity run clinics in Hertfordshire and London hospitals and train cancer staff across the UK in how to best support patients on all aspects of hair loss, scalp care and emotional support.  As well as face to face services they offer a free phone support line, guidance booklets and an information website.

FREE hair loss services are provided at PA Hospital. The service is carried out by Hair Loss Advisors trained by Caring Hair, Cancer Hair Care (Registered charity number: 1145258). With thanks to Cancer Hair Care, PAH and Macmilan.
