Common Q & A

Bad weather – if its raining is it still on! YES. The entire event will only be cancelled if the weather is seen to be very bad. So please turn up!

Fundraising – I want to collect donations in cash and cheque. No problem please email to request a sponsor form for this event and details of how to collect and pay in cash and cheque donations to this event

Parking – There will be some parking available on the local roads adjoining the Primary school or alternately, at the Walkern Sports and Community Centre, Jubilee Pavilion, High St, Stevenage SG2 7N which is a short distance away from the Primary school.

Disabled Access – There will be some parking available within the Walkern Primary School grounds for those requiring disabled access.

Have fun and feel great that you are helping two fantastic charities. Please be considerate – of each other and other road users. So, please use common sense and be courteous of folk when passing through and stopping off in residential areas. Please respect the roads and your planet – use bins and do not drop your litter on the roads.

The guideline are for the benefit of local residents as well as your fellow riders, as it will ensure the continuity of the ride in its present ungoverned, unpoliced, un-ticketed form, for years to come. It is of great help to small charities to be able to run events that are low cost. Thanks so much for your kind support.
